Velda E. Brandt was born November 10th, 1919 on the family farm near Chester, SD. She will celebrate her birthday with an open house Sunday Nov. 8th at Sommerset Court (located at the corner of Minnesota Street and Derby Lane in Rapid City) from 2pm-4pm hosted by her children: Jim and Kathy Brandt of Derry, NH; Bob and Margo Brandt of Rapid City, SD; Bill Brandt and his son, Louis of Boulder, Co; and Jack and Erin Brandt of Colorado Springs, CO.
