Denzil was born in Indiana November 11th, 1929.
An Indiana farm boy turned city man
A brilliant future always his plan
Served his country, then worked so hard
Striving and yearning for a greater reward
A strong carrer, a life full of pride
Lovely wife Vera there by his side
A son and a daughter, now grown and nearby
To share lives together, a closeness whereby
Five grandchildren now could love and could grow
And then, ten great-grandchildren all blessed to know
An amazing chef, artist, gardener and writer
His talents do much to make our days brighter
So many gifts, so many lessons to share
So many lives touched, so many who care
A man whose life shall become even more great
Eighty wonderful years to celebrate!
