Lacey Powell Douglas Bates

Lacey Powell and Douglas Bates will marry on June 20, 2009.

The Bride’s parents are Marvin and Lois Powell of Parkston, SD. The Groom’s parents are John and Diane Bates of Rapid City.

Lacey graduated from Parkston High School in 2006. She is currently a student at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital School of Radiology in Yankton, SD and will graduate in August 2009 with a degree in Radiologic Technology.

Douglas graduated from Rapid City Stevens High School in 2003. He graduated from Yankton’s Mount Marty College in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. He is currently a fifth grade teacher in Sioux Falls, SD
